After Josh Admits to Cheating, a Close Friend of Anna Duggar Says This Is How She’ll Respond

There has been no shortage of bad news for Josh Duggar in the past few months. First he was outed for molesting five young girls as a teenager, and now he has confessed that he used the website Ashley Madison to cheat on his wife Anna.

People Magazine reports that they spoke with a close family friend, who wished to remain anonymous. The friend said that Anna will stay with her husband, and that now, more than ever, she will turn to her faith to get through these hard times.

The source also told People that Anna will:

“On some level…. absorb some of the blame.”

“Maybe not publicly, ever, but privately, there will be some suggestion of whether or not she should have been more aware of the pressures Josh was under, of the issues he was facing, and how she could have better counseled him or helped him.”
