Ohio school district considers making all restrooms unisex in response to trans student controversy

A new development has been made in the case of an Ohio transgender student’s bathroom choice.

Keith Crabtree, school board president for Northwest Local School District, tells WOWK he and his colleagues may have a solution to the issue: Make every restroom and locker room unisex.

All restrooms would have completely private toilet rooms and completely private shower stalls in locker rooms to guarantee maximum privacy for students, Crabtree said.

There would no longer be any single gender facilities, and therefore nothing left to fight about.
