Teachers educate in the classroom everyday. But on Thursday, teachers at Rusheon Middle School in Bossier City went above and beyond to improve the quality of life for one of their students.
You could always hear 7th grader Madison Mason coming down the halls with her walker.
“The wheels were worn down so bad that they basically weren’t circular anymore, so she was struggling with the wheels and I heard it,” said teacher Kevin Smith.
Smith, an 8th grade teacher at Rusheon Middle School, not only listened but he turned the noise into a joyous sound.
“She never complained. She never said, ‘hey can you fix my wheels or help me with my walker,” said Smith. “We saw the need and decided to help her.”
