How Do Leaders Learn to Lead?

The development of a leader is a concatenation of events highlighted by training, experiences and molding.King David’s schooling began in his father’s pasture full of sheep. His training was designed to prepare him for all that would be required of him. When things went terribly wrong for Saul, Samuel said:”… You have done foolishly. You have not kept the commandment of the Lord your God, which He commanded you. Truly now, the Lord would have established your kingdom over Israel forever. But now your kingdom will not continue. The Lord has sought for Himself a man after His own heart and the Lord has commanded him to be prince over His people, because you have not kept that which the Lord commanded you” (1 Sam. 13:13-14).
