Police Phone Flooded After Magi Spell, Mother of Tony Spell, Posts Phone Number to Facebook

The Central City Police Department has posted on their Facebook page that they are having difficulty responding to actual emergencies and police calls because Magi Spell, the mother of Pastor Tony Spell of Life Tabernacle in Baton Rouge, has posted their phone number encouraging people to call them needlessly.

I would like to apologize to our Citizens of Central for any inconvenience you may encounter in reaching our department by phone. Magi Spell, mother of Pastor Tony Spell of Life Tabernacle Church has posted the Central Police Department’s phone number on her Facebook page encouraging everyone to call our Department. This phone number is the line we receive all of our calls on including our emergency calls from Citizens needing our assistance or help due to a life changing emergency. If you can not reach us due to our lines being tied up please keep trying. If you have an emergency please call 911. Again we are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
Chief Roger Corcoran

The full text of the post encouraging these phone calls can be seen here:

The post, as you can see, included the phone numbers for the Central Police Department, Attorney General Bill Barr, Louisiana Senators Bill Cassidy and John Kennedy, and finally President Donald Trump.

This has cause numerous people to flood the Central Police Department with phone calls and has, per the police department, hindered their ability to protect and serve their city. Please, if you are angry about this, call a congressperson or a senator, or if you want to believe a publicly listed number for the President of the United States, call that. But don’t call a police department. They have people to protect and help, they don’t have the time or resources for those kinds of things.

Thus far, there have been no charges filed in regards to flooding the Police department with unnecessary calls. Stay with us at Jesus Name News for updates to the situation.
