Roman’s 8 starts out telling us that there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. Why? Christ’s appearance and death condemned sin. It disarmed death, which is the condemnation of the sinner. Because God loves His creation so much, He sent His own Son in the likeness of corruptible flesh to do what the Law could not, which is to create a bridge to rectify the God-sized gap between God and man. God chose repentance. God chose that changing of mind and heart to begin the journey back to Him. We’ll discuss that journey of restoration of mind and spirit this week!
