Continuing our discussion of Ephesians, we turn our attention to Godhead. There’s some debate around this topic. There are two predominant lines of thought: oneness & trinity. We look at “one Lord, one faith, one baptism” through the eyes of Oneness Pentecostalism & trinitarianism. We’ll also talk briefly about Jesus Name baptism, which is really at the core of the Godhead debate. Oneness Pentecostals baptize in the name of Jesus, but what is the biblical formula? What does it really mean to be baptized “in the name of Jesus”?
